Pappy’s Seafood Restaurant recently occupied an artfully refurbished building in downtown San Pedro. While freelancing for LA Social Karma, I designed and developed Pappy’s Seafood website to reflect the restaurant's essence and historical significance to the community.
I chose the letter X for the @36daysoftype challenge on @CSULB.GD because of its opposing and sometimes controversial meaning. In correspondence, the letters X and O are often adjoined in a loving close, three X’s together are seen on adult theater marques, and a single X can symbolize taboo, danger and the unknown. But of all the symbols the letter X conveys, I celebrate X with a little O.
